EIA has overall responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the LCF fleet, but has named Cargolux and Sojitz as partners in European and Asian operations, respectively. The LCF will begin operational testing in early 2006, with certification planned for later that same year. The first operational flight is scheduled for early 2007.
