(EHI) closed on two vital aircraft purchases this week, the Agusta/Bell AB139 and the Bell B412. These acquisitions will contribute to EHI’s commitment to fulfill the most challenging missions around the globe. This is EHI’s second AB139 and third B412 to enter the fleet, bringing the company’s total number of aircraft to more than 75. The AB139 is a state-of-the-art 15-passenger medium twin-engine helicopter with advanced avionics and performance capabilities. The aircraft’s exceptional power to weight ratio and high-speed capability make the aircraft ideally suited for EHI’s offshore, EMS, search and rescue and VIP operations.
