Wins Aviation Repair Specialist Award MCMINNVILLE, OR, USA-Bruce Currier, Vice President of Avionics for Evergreen Helicopters Inc., has won the Helicopter Association International Aviation Repair Specialist Award. HAI will present Currier with the award at the HAI "Salute to Excellence" celebration on February 27, 2006 at 8 p.m. in Dallas, Texas. Bruce graduated from the University of Oregon and went on to earn an advanced degree in Avionics and Engineering from The Military College of Armed Forces. Upon completion of his degree, Currier remained in the Air Force for eight years, traveling worldwide supporting various military missions as an Avionics Technician in the Research and Development sector. In 1975, after his departure from the Air Force, Mr. Currier began his career with Evergreen. A loyal and dedicated engineer, Currier has successfully completed every mission and engineering challenge he has been presented with. Known throughout the industry as an avionics and engineering genius, Bruce has completed sophisticated STC’s and complex engineering wiring diagrams, helping Evergreen stay on the cutting edge of the industry.
