Purpose:
Safeguarding financial position of the Company
Accurate and timely financial reporting
Timely collections of Accounts Receivable
Manage Budget process
Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for all Accounts Receivable and Budget matters
Support to obtain unqualified audit opinion
Meet with customers on payment terms and collections
Maintain systems of effective internal controls in place and effective to ensure business outcomes
Support Controller and other organizations as required
Supervise and direct all personnel reports
Develop expense forecasts for the responsible cost centers and ensure that expenditures are necessary and within approved budgets.
Perform other duties as assigned by the VP of Finance and the President
Working Conditions:
Physical Demands: Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Requires frequent walking, climbing, bending and reaching to shoulder level. Requires occasional squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling weight up to 10 pounds. Requires repetitive hand movement. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
Equipment Operated:
Telephone System, personal computer, printer, adding machine, copy machine, facsimile machine.
Work Location:
Finance Offices (2nd floor), other first and second floor departments/offices.
Potential Hazards:
Exposure to materials identified on Material Safety Data Sheet.
Job Specifications:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Spreadsheet, excellent math and communication, both written and oral; ability to read, write and speak the English language.
Education/Training:
Accounting Degree; preferably with auditing, accounting, business and insurance.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years experience with Accounts Receivable collections, budget preparation and analysis, and public auditing, preferable in a service orientated environment.
Certificates/Licenses:
CPA or equivalent preferred.
